A Pencil on the stand EVERY DAY.

A working instrument and necessary supplies. Woodwinds should have cork grease, reeds,swabs, etc. Brass players should have valve/slide oil.

SMARTMUSIC

All students will be provided with a SmartMusic subscription.

Submitting assignments through SmartMusic is not optional. It is required of every student.

AFTER-SCHOOL REHEARSALS
-
Band Classes are considered "co-curricular" and are allowed to require after-school rehearsals and performances as part of the grade for the class.
-
Rehearsals for Concert and Symphonic Bands begin on November 27, 28, and 29
-
Concert Band Rehearses from 4:15-6:15pm on Wednesdays
-
Symphonic Band Rehearses from 4:15-6:15pm on Tuesdays
-
Percussion Ensemble Rehearses from 4:30-6:00 on Thursdays

SCBDA REGION BAND AUDITION PREPARATION
-
Every student is required to prepare the SCBDA Region/All-State Band audition material for class.
-
If a student is not deemed sufficiently prepared, he/she will not be allowed to audition. There is no refund of audition registration fees.

WINTER CAMP
-
January 30, 31 and Feb 1 (Thursday evening, Friday evening, and Saturday)
-
All students required to attend this instructional camp starting our festival season.
-
Tuition for the camp is $75.00, due in December. Tuition can be paid on this website under PAYMENTS/ONLINE STORE.

GRADUATION
-
All non-graduating band students are required to play at the graduation ceremony.
-
Students are exempt ONLY if they have a sibling graduating on this day.
-

CONCERT DRESS
-
All students are required to have proper concert attire.
-
